I actually stripped out the tag suffixes for a lot of categories. So the whole point of the tags are to make the shortest possible unique identifier for the product that is being added to the system.
Let's take a hypothetical example of a product called the "Samsung SCH7564RX 24 in. Under Counter Dishwasher"
The shortest possible tag for that that is a unique identifier would be "Samsung-SCH7564RX" but there is no way to tell if that's a DVD player, a telephone or a dishwasher, so we decided to automatically append the product category to the end, e.g. "Samsung-SCH7564RX-Dishwasher"
In the case of gymnastics equipment, because we don't generally use Model #'s and things like that, the tags don't need category suffixes on them, e.g. "Reisport-Double-Buckle-HB-Grips" doesn't need a category tacked on the end.
I hope that makes some sense - let me know if there are categories that I took the tag suffixes off of that could benefit from having them back. Thank,
dan
