Pros: pommels dont shake very much, sides are good for those who are learning uphill and downhill circles
Cons: flanks can be slippery
I personally would not use a different one, the horse is very stable, pommels are very stable, flanks are good for beginning uphill and downhill circles mainly because your legs wont stick. If you have sweaty hands like I do, the flanks will be your worst enemy. Overall it is a very good horse.
