a great high bar for gymnasts of any level. It is cabled to he ground so the supports dont wobble. this makes for a great practice high bar and once you get use to that bar. Take it down and set it up for a home meet and rock your competition. That's your house!!
This bar, as long as it is bolted into the ground or on podium, is the best bar I have swung on in the world. I prefer tight bars and this bar gives me that quick response I like. The only drawback to this bar is with its free standing system. The water weights are not very secure and the bar tends to be very slow, even when it is tightened to the max.
I love AAI High Bars - definitely my favorite bars to swing on. When they're cabled into the ground or a podium at an international competition, they can be tightened down really well so the bar is very quick. For someone my size (160 lbs.) I need it.
The only exception with this bar is that when it's water weighted, the timing gets WAY slower and makes it hard to catch releases and dismount comfortably.
