Good Bars

These bars worked for me when I was doing class one (current level 10) and collegiate gymnastics. I found a grip was hard to get sometimes, but I believe that is because I didn't have a good chalk ritual/preparation and I am not very good with grip in general. All my teammates who are good on PB like them and some of them compete internationally.

Godd set, but very different than international bars
DoubleD reviewed April 13, 2008 at 12:43 pm

These are very good parallel bars, but because they are so different than all other international bars it is sometimes hard to switch when at a competition. They are fiberglass and don't bounce as much as the wood bars. The grip on the wood bars is great most of the time, but for me chalking the bars is a different process for fiberglass bars than it is for wood bars. Also, the T-handles tend to wear out over time and the bars can become a little shaky or loose. Overall, I would recommend these bars.
