Pros: they are a good grip untill they rip.

Cons: i have to keep getting new grips because they rip

I am a 16 year old 140 pound gymnast. I dont do to many big skills but they hold up very well untill they rip. I though i was just getting a falty product but no it happened to me three times and i dont have the money to keep buying new pairs al the time. Over all they are are a good product but just make sure you watch how they are doing or you might be in the same situtation

Pros: won't shuffle on wrists, can be easily broken into

Cons: requires wrist bands (sold separately),

the Velcro Reisport Elite Protec High Bar Grips are very those who are ready to do the big stunts. It has a fine grip on the bar and on your hands. The straps help support your wrists. The problem here is that you need to wear some kind of wrist band to protect your wrists otherwise you will get cuts. Other than that there isn't anything else wrong with these mighty fine grips. And if your looking for grips that won't take a long time to break into..these bad boys are for you.

Pros: dont rip

Cons: too tight

I haven't been satisfied with a pair of grips since i learned giants 13 years ago... But the hyper protec design is certainly the best ive found for highbar. Other grips last 3 weeks and i feel unsafe in them but the hyper protec last me at least 6 months.

Pros: this thing will not tear on you

Cons: they are a little harder to break in

I have used these grips for years and am usually satisfied. They are hard to break in, but they will last a lot longer than ny other grip I have used.

Pros: Really strong, thin enough to get a good feel for the bar

Cons: Difficult to break in if you are a light user

I switched from grip to grip for years, until Reisport came out with Protecs. I'm a 160 lb gymnast that does high bar every day, and I was going through other brands a pair per week. Protecs last much longer - for me, up to a couple months. They're a bit more expensive, but it's definitely worth the price increase. Plus, like regular resiport grips - the leather is relatively thin, so you can get a good feel for the bar (especially nice if you do a lot of eagle work). The only downside is that most people have a hard time breaking them in. For me, it takes about 3 workouts before I'm doing inverts in them, but I've known people to spend weeks working on them. Don't give up though - it's worth it.
