These were the first grips I ever got. They were great for comfort and are fine for learning giants both ways, strength, and double flipping dismounts. They break in easily, but would not recommend them for upper level gymnasts and heavier gymnasts. I workout with a group of college aged guys and none of them wear ten-0 ring grips. I would also recommend buying the buckle grips as a second or third pair, but these are great for your first ones.
