Georgia's 4-peat

Well - I guess TheEli and HergieHerg called it in the other thread

I gotta say I'm really proud of my Stanford ladies - 3rd place is amazing, but a 4-peat is just ridiculous. From Inside Gymnastics:

The University of Georgia led Utah and Stanford to capture its fourth straight national title with a 197.450 this weekend at the 2008 NCAA Gymnastics Championships, held at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia. Georgia is now tied with Utah with nine NCAA titles and is the first team to win four straight titles since the Utes ran off a string of five consecutive championships from 1982-86.

Was anyone there? Have any stories or feelings about the meet?

Whoa - I just found this video on YouTube of the atmosphere at the meet. Unreal. Let's just says Men's NCAAs were a bit more subdued.

That is so crazy. It is like a Super Bowl half-time show at the beginning. I thought this year's men's NCAAs was loud, but I know it would be even harder to perform at that arena. So ridiculous.
