David Sender...

Does anyone know what his plans are now? It sucks a lot that he did not get a chance to compete or even go to the camp (especially because he is USA National Champion). Is he still planning on doing gymnastics? Will he go four more years?

Yes he is a great gymnast, but from this past year. This was his only win, I would like to see some more consistancy before putting him on the team. I would think that he would stick around, he is only like 22 or something like that. Still young but we will see, by 2012 if he sticks to the sport he should be plenty good.

Pardon the bias but I think Sender has been one of the most consistent competitors this past year.  Granted he hasn't won any major competitions aside from USA's, but if you look at the results from the major competitions, he was beaten by competitors that had unusually good days.  He has consistently been in the top five with solid scores on his best events.  Even though he doesn't have exceptional scores, his performances have been consistent across the board.

True. In the last four years, Sender has't finished outside of the top 5 at Visas.
